The organization has been promoted by a group of social minded people in a rural area under the leadership of Savita Dilip Nikam along with other likeminded people committed for the development of the local areas and surroundings.

Finally the organization ‘Shrikrishna Sanskrutik and Gramin Vikas Sanstha’ has been formed and registered under society registration act, Government of Maharastra. Since the formation of the organization, it has been started few development activities in the area to serve the people of the area.

The member of the organization hope that, in the near future many more activities to be start for the benefit of the people tapping resources from Individual donation, Government Departments and other Supporting agencies.

Though we have been started activities initially in Kannad Nadarpur Block, later this been extended to other nearby blocks. Even several activities have been undertaken in few blocks of Aurangabad district others block too. We have been initiated a number of baseline studies in different Gram Panchayets and villages to know the real problem of the people of the area.

Our main focus right from the beginning was Empowerment of the Village people with special reference to skill development, education and health promotion, livelihood development, environment promotion and to support basic urgent services to our target area people tapping resources from various agencies.

We have a committed team of men and women serving the community, the villagers, the elderly, students, the backward classes and women as office bearers of the organization. who grounded the activities in the field level. As we have implemented all work in consultation of the local people and community based groups (CBOs), in all our work we got full support and participation at the village level which is one of our basic strengthen.

As an organization, we have a number of plan to work for the children in the area through establishment of schools, development of an integrated skill training center, old age home for the elderly people etc for which we are in search of support to materialize our plans in the future.

Due to their lifestyle and lack of contact with the government system, people are not aware of the provisions in various laws to protect their rights, various government schemes and facilities for their benefit, importance, role and responsibilities of Panchayati Raj. Less involvement of women in elected representatives and local administration and decision making. This and many other such deeds led to the establishment of our ‘Shrikrishna Sanskrutik And Gramin Vikas Sanstha’.
